Co-Creator and Learning Guide
Meet Veronica, co-creator of Growing Wilder Co-Op and one of the learning guides. She is the proud mother of her free spirited daughter, Olive. Farming, large gardens and adventure took up most of her childhood. She has a deep connection to plants, animals, mother earth and people. She has always had a passion for nature and education. She has infinite love of the outdoors and feels most connected when she’s outside, barefoot and exploring. She never leaves home without a book and a sketch pad. One of her greatest achievements was building a self-sustaining tiny home in the middle of 100 acres! Her favorite animal is a Red Tailed Hawk. She is most excited to share her knowledge and connection to nature and create a space that nurtures that in each wildling ♡
“Some of us are drawn to the mountains the way the moon draws the tide. Both the great forests and the mountains live in my bones…"
Co-Creator and Learning Guide
Meet Chloe, co-creator of Growing Wilder Co-Op and one of the learning guides. She’s mom to Billie and Harper, two creative, curious girls. Chloe spent almost a decade in nonprofit development before stepping away to homeschool — wanting more time with her family, and to raise girls who love learning simply because it’s theirs to love.
Chloe believes children notice the world in ways most adults have stopped trusting — a feeling before it has words, an instinct that doesn’t need explaining, a recognition simply trusted. She sees her role less as delivering answers and more as creating the conditions for real discovery and connection — staying close, asking good questions, and knowing when to guide and when to let a child’s own attention lead. Outside of this work, she loves hiking and exploring with her family, and spending time with her two horses and two dogs.
“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.”
